Multiple for Reorder
MULTIPLE FOR ORDER
For vendors where you order by Unit instead of by Case, the Re-Order tool can warn you if you enter an order quantity that does not match the defined Multiple for Order. If no Multiple for Order is set at the product level, the system will automatically use the product’s Units per Case as the default multiple.
Setting the Multiple for Order
The Multiple for Order can be set in two places:
On the product’s ‘Stock’ tab.
Using the Apply All function in .
In most cases, the Multiple for Order will be the same as the Units per Case. However, you may want to set it differently in certain scenarios:
**Single-bottle orders:**Set the Multiple for Order to 1 for products you can order individually.
**Beer ordered by layer:**For example, a 15-pack of beer comes 18 to a layer from BDL.You may wish to set the Multiple for Order to 18 (or 9 if ordering by half-layer).
Using Multiple for Order in the Re-Order Tool
To enable the system to validate your order quantities:
Go to Re-Order Settings.
Check the option Use Mult. for Order to Adjust Qty.
When this setting is enabled, the system will display a warning if your entered order quantity does not align with the Multiple for Order.
**Example:**Smirnoff 375ml has a Multiple for Order of 24.If you enter 12 units, the system will prompt:
“Order quantity does not match the Multiple for Order. Adjust to 24?”
Select YES → the order quantity will automatically change to 24.
Select NO → your entered quantity (12) will remain as is.
